Michelle Obama’s Hair GONE: What Happened To First Lady’s Locks In ‘Jeopardy’? [PHOTO+VIDEO]

As she's turned into a fashion icon since taking up residence in the White House following her husband being elected President in 2008, Michelle Obama's hair and clothing choices have been the subject of a lot of headlines over the past few years - but nothing had made as many headlines as her recent "Jeopardy" hairstyle.

As the first promos of Tuesday's special episode with the First Lady premiered, people around the country were shocked to see a huge change in Michelle Obama's hair, as there was none of it, unlike how she'll usually style it straight or wavy, down and medium-length.

According to The Hill, the Michelle Obama hair controversy first began earlier this week, as the First Lady appeared on the famous and long-running quiz show last Tuesday to promote her initiative against childhood obesity called "Let's Move," going on air to speak about the nutritional value of different healthy foods.

She was featured in one of the show's categories, entitled "Healthy Cooking," and there she explained the characteristics of different minerals and other healthy foods and giving the contestants clues about each of these, as she celebrated the fifth anniversary of this initiative - but all lights were on Michelle Obama's hair.

In spite of her important message, The New York Daily News reports that all eyes were on Michelle Obama's hair at the time of her appearance, as she seemed to be favoring a super short hairstyle nearing bald, something that's entirely out of the ordinary for her usual style.

However, as a later article by The New York Daily News explains that the whole thing was just a trick of lighting, as the First Lady hadn't chopped off her locks at all, but rather she was wearing a very tight bun that made it seem like she was bald.

It's amazing how much controversy Michelle Obama's hair can create!
