Kim Richards Arrested- An intoxicated and rowdy "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Kim Richards was arrested after supposed alcohol-fueled riot that happened at the Beverly Hills Hotel early Thursday. Kim Richards arrested was also charged for kicking a police officer.
Kim Richards arrested when she failed to cooperate with the posh Polo Lounge Beverly Hills Hotel staff and security as she became loud-mouthed while slurring her speech. From the police reports, the 50-year-old reality star was totally drunk that she became uncontrollable.
"Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior, cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest," a police officer said in a statement.
"After being transported to the station for booking, Richards kicked one of the officers in the leg; however the officer was not injured."
Kim Richards arrested for charges including resisting arrest, trespass, battery on a police officer, and being drunk in public, the Page Six reported. Based on TMZ report, Richards was being aggressive and disorderly in the Polo Lounge so she was asked to leave, but she refused.
The reality TV star then went to washroom and refuted to come out. It was then police officers were informed about a woman "causing a disturbance at a hotel restaurant."Police officers were forced to drag her out of the washroom before she was brought to the nearest jail.
Kim Richards arrested for multiple charges allegedly kicked an officer in the leg. The officer has no reported injury.
Kim Richards unruly behavior is not surprising anymore. In 2011, Richards entered rehab for substance abuse. While doing "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", she denied relapse of her drug addiction. She was often seen with unpredictable behavior while filming the reality show.
In a "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" blog post, Richards stated that she made a mistake when she took her husband's painkiller to relieve chronic pain from her injuries. She defended that she is still "sober" and "strong mentally and physically."
Richards explained that one incident should not give anyone the right to spread the rumor that she had relapsed and been drinking.
Kim Richards, arrested was released after she posted $20,000 bail. At around 10:30 a.m. the police officers had given her a citation for trespassing, resisting an officer, public intoxication, and battery on a police officer.
Kim Richards arrested for the charges was due to face at the Airport Courthouse in May. Bravo network that airs the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" franchise has not commented on the Kim Richards arrested incident.
