Maroon 5 has released the music video for their new single, which features more of frontliner Adam Levine. "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf***er" debuted Saturday and shows off about 30 seconds of Levine's sexy bottom.
On Twitter, Levine posted "Oops, we dropped our new video," and included a link. Levine's fans went crazy on social media a few minutes after the tweet was posted. Some were surprised while others even divulged being turned on after seeing the singer in ths light.
Fans can get a glimpse of his bare backside in black and white within the first half minute of the whole 5-minute clip. The beginning shows him in the bathroom, grabbing a towel after stepping out of a steamy shower.
The first half has Levine getting dressed and walking the hallways to the stage where the rest of Maroon 5 is preparing to perform. Viewers then see the band rocking out in front of an audience of thousands of screaming fans.
The rocker and "The Voice" judge had also promoted the singe on his official instagram account. He posted a screencap from the music video, with the words "This Summer's Gonna Hurt" strewn across.
Currently, the video has garnered over 1.7 million views as of publishing, amassing over 1,400 comments that either praise the song for what it is or point out Levine's butt exposure. Some users have even claimed that this video is the 'sexiest thing on YouTube.'
Maroon 5 is currently on their European leg of their worldwide tour, which began in Paris on May 24.
Prior to their video's release, the band had to cancel one show due to Levine's strained vocal chords.
"Guys I HATE having to let you down tonight. My chords are toast. We resume Sunday in Birmingham. Apologies L," the singer posted on Twitter.
On the same day, he also tweeted about their newest summer album, and also shared that he's feeling better, "Saw the doc. Resuming tour in Birmingham tomorrow! We're Baaaack!"
