Fans couldn't wait for the return of the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory back on TV and it is looking like they are up for some major surprises as soon as the first episode of season 9 enters. Even the actor Mayim Bialik (who plays Amy) was shocked to when she first read the script.
She told ET Online that the script for the upcoming season of The Big Bang Theory shocked her. It is where ring of Sheldon came in to the picture. Bialik said, "All we know is that episode 1 of season 9 picks up a few hours after the season 8 finale."
The cast and the show creator also gave out some little spoilers to the fans during the San Diego Comic Con event. It is just interesting to see that the cast didn't need to go in costume since they can just be themselves and still be relevant to the whole theme of the event.
Now, about the ring scene, the show's executive producer Steve Molaro said that the whole story on how the ring was bought by Sheldon will be explained on the very first episode of the new season. About Raj and Emily, well their relationship would still be on the rocks. And it is all because of the weird and dark stuff that Emily wants, it still creeps him out. And for those who are asking what is Penny's last name, Chuck Lorre who creator the show finally revealed it to be Barrington as per Yibada's report.
The Hollywood Reporter said that this new season, fans will see more of Penny's dad and his relation to the group. Eric Kaplan, one of the writer's of the show said that Amy has actually a backstory that fans would find interesting. This is something that they too would feature.
