Despite the recent controversy over an awkward interview where she threw some shade at the interviewer, Cara Delevingne actually appears to be a pleasant person to chat with.
The 'Paper Towns' star was previously a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she talked about her character in 'Suicide Squad,' how director David Ayer helped her get the part and wanting to attend Comic-Con as a Smurf.
Seth Myers asked Cara Delevingne how she auditioned for the part of Enchantress, and the actress started by explaining a little about the character.
"The part I'm playing, I'm actually playing two different parts. The second act is just a dream," she said. "I'm playing opposites, a mousey kind of scientist and a crazy, feral witch, which is great. Both sides of my personality, which is nice."
She revealed that she was one of the first people to audition for the film, and that there was no script yet when she went in to meet with David Ayer.
"I ended up just doing a monologue from 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'" Delevingne said.
She also revealed that Ayer helped her get into character. "David has a very amazing skill of riling up a lot of emotion in you, so by the time I left, I literally wanted to kill someone. I was so angry."
Cara Delevingne also admitted that although she attended the San Diego Comic-Con, she was not able to roam around and enjoy the event. Seth Meyers asked if she would like to attend SDCC, and she revealed what she would wear to Comic-Con.
"I'd dress like a Smurf," she said. "I'd be something weird. They'd be like, 'Why is there a Smurf here?'"
'Suicide Squad' also stars Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis and Academy Award winner Jared Leto as the Joker. The film is scheduled for release on August 5, 2015.
