It seems like the ogre from a faraway fairytale land was in production for way longer than fans thought, as Chris Farley's "Shrek" voice has been revealed that to come from far back as 1997, ahead of the comedian's death in December of that same year.
In the recently released story reel, Chris Farley's "Shrek" voice can be heard, after he had reportedly completed about 95 percent of the recorded dialogue, but the character Mike Myers would go on to voice sounded completely different - with no Scottish accent, for one!
