Selena Gomez Net Worth: Singer Joins ‘The Voice’ As Gwen Stefani’s Team Advisor [PHOTOS]

Selena Gomez already has a big few months ahead with her new album 'Revival'coming out on October 9, but she’s ready to add another job to her already extensive resume.

The 23-year-old actress and singer is making her debut on The Voice in its upcoming season, and she’ll be working asGwen Stefani's team advisor. The news was shared Monday on “The Voice’s” Twitter account.

Gomez will be joined by musician John Fogerty, who has been set as the team adviser for Adam Levine, plus Brad Paisley, who will mentor Blake Shelton’s team, People reported earlier this month. Team Pharrell has yet to set a mentor.

Megastar Rihanna will serve as the singing competition’s key adviser for season nine.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Selena said appearing on the show with No Doubt veteran Gwen has been a learning experience. "I'm learning a lot being here. I've been in a transition period with my music, so it is inspiring," she revealed.

"I love being in the presence of women, especially women who are so comfortable in their own skin and support other women."

Selena's BFF, Taylor Swift was a key advisor in Season 8, working with Adam, Blake, Pharrell and Christina Aguilera and offering some valuable advice to their team members.

With Selena’s episodes likely airing right around the beginning of October, it’s the perfect opportunity for the singer to promote her new album.

"I'm becoming a young woman and I'm comfortable with my sensuality," she told Ryan Seacrest in June about her new album. "I'm very confident in this record and you can hear it. But I'm vulnerable, I'm real, and I think it just shows a different side of me."

Selena rose to fame starring on Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Before that, she was cast in the children’s series “Barney & Friends.”

Selena Gomez is an American actress, singer and songwriter who has a net worth of $18 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
