Harry Styles Calls Perrie Edwards After Zayn Malik Split [PHOTOS]

Harry Styles just proved to be the ultimate gentleman by offering some support to a recently heartbroken Perrie Edwards.

Harry reportedly reached out to the Little Mix singer to make sure she was doing okay after her shocking split from Zayn Malik.

A source close to Harry Styles revealed to the Daily Star that he is the only member of the best-selling band One Direction to reach out to Perrie.

They said: "It's something Harry really understands from having his heart broken by his first girlfriend when he was 14."

"His heart immediately went out to Perrie and he called her up straight away," the source added. "He's very spontaneous that way. It meant a lot to her."

This doesn’t mean that the two will be dating any time soon. In fact, Perrie and the rest of the Little Mix girls previously admitted in an interview with Capital FM Radio that if given the chance, they would all “swipe left” on Harry, later claiming that it is because he’s too much of a “ladies man and a player.”

Despite Styles' reputation as a ladies man, reaching out to Perrie during her lowest moment to date shows a much softer side of the 1D star.

Harry Styles has been concerned about Zayn Malik following his recent Twitter feud with Calvin Harris and his ex Taylor Swift.

"Harry's kind of worried about Zayn after his Twitter rants. He thought Zayn's diss to Taylor was uncool and passive aggressive. He thinks this may be the beginning of Zayn spiraling out of control after ending things with Perrie," an insider explained.

"His rants are not a good sign at all, and this won't be good for him professionally either. At this point, 1D would never want a reunion with him because he's just too toxic."

Zayn Malik recently took a swipe at his former fiancee and her band when he chose Fifth Harmony over Little Mix.

The former One Direction singer came across a tweet which asked users to choose which song was better between 'Worth It' by Fifth Harmony and 'Black Magic' by Little Mix.
