'Megan Fox' and 'Brian Austin Green' Call It Quits

The latest news in a string of celebrity breakups is just in: Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have split up, as reported by People and Us Weekly.

The news that Fox, 29, and Green, 42, have ended their almost 11 year relationship comes after high profile breakups of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.

Apparently, the breakup was mutual and the ex-couple had been living separately months before they split. There are conflicting reports on when exactly the unfortunate breakup happened but it coule be anywhere between "several months" and more than six months ago.

Representatives of both Fox and Green could not be contacted for comment. Their last public appearance as a couple was in June of this year.

The two first met in Fox's Hope & Faith over a decade ago. They were first engaged in 2006 but called it off in 2009. An interview with Fox then revealed that she felt marriage at 23 was an unrealistic goal.

However, a re-proposal was made by Green in 2010 and they both officially tied the knot just 24 days later in a private ceremony in Hawaii. Green was quoted saying, "I've never been more sure of anything in my life." He added, "It was the absolute perfect start that we hope will be an amazing life together."

They have two sons, Noah Shannon, 2 ½, and Bodhi, 18 months. Green also has another son Kassius, 13, from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

Fox told Men's Health earlier this month that, "You can't live in a fantasyland and think that everything's going to be perfect all the time. You will go through phases where you're just not getting along. You're not communicating well. That's going to happen, and it's going to feel impossible to you sometimes. It might not even make sense to you sometimes."

Fox finished taping Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 this earlier this year and Green last starred in FX's show Anger Management.
