Joy Behar Net Worth: Actress Officially Returns To ‘The View’ [PHOTOS]

'The View' is reaching back to its glory days, bringing back Joy Behar as a co-host, as it tries to move forward after a difficult year.

Joy Behar is returning to co-host the daytime talk show as part of a massive overhaul of the show’s hosting team for its upcoming 19th season.

The 72-year-old's return is a surprise, but it’s no secret that ABC has been struggling to find a replacement, they have been interchanging the co-hosts for the past two years.

In the announcement, ABC News called Behar “one of the most-beloved personalities in the talk show’s history having co-hosted for seasons 1-16,” adding, “While equally at ease performing standup comedy or interviewing politicians and celebrities, Behar brings honesty, humor, irreverence, with an authentic and intelligent point of view on every topic.”

The past season has been full of behind the scenes drama as the show attempted to roll out a new team of hosts, other than moderator Goldberg, and a new producing team.

Barbara Walters is said to have been dismayed by the non-stop drama that has enveloped the show this season.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,” said Behar. “And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight.”

'Full House' star Candace Cameron Bure will also join Whoopi Goldberg at the table, along with Paula Faris, Michelle Collins and Raven Symone. The show will also move to a live format five days a week rather than offering a taped installment on Fridays.

Joy Behar is an American comedian, writer, actress and co-host who has a net worth of $8 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. Joy Behar made her net worth through her success in film and TV.
