Jennifer Lawrence: Actress Dishes Out Story Behind Kris Jenner Photo, Explains How She Became BFFs With Amy Schumer

Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of explaining to do. After a photo of her and Kris Jenner on the same bed broke the internet, fans of both sides have been wondering how they did they even become friends.

Entertainment Tonight reports that in her The New York Times interview, the Oscar winner finally shares the story behind the weird picture.

"My two best friends planned a surprise birthday party with a big surprise within the surprise," she explained. While everybody was singing the birthday song, the KUWTK die-hard was dropped her jaw seeing Jenner bringing in the cake.

"Kris Jenner comes out holding my cake, which is a pile of shit, with a sign that says Happy Birthday You Pile of S**t," she gushed. "My knees buckled."

Being a huge fan of the Kardashian-Jenners, J-Law has once again unleashed her klutz by literally falling down due to uncontained excitement.

"It was the closest I've ever come to losing consciousness," she said. "I had NO IDEA. I'd never met her before but we've always watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Her birthday fun didn't end right there though. "Kris Jenner and I sang 'Build Me Up Buttercup' on karaoke and took that picture."

The 59-year-old momager posted the controversial photo on Instagram on Saturday. "Happy Birthday you piece of shit," she wrote. "God I love you #Jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember.....even if we did get caught... I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!!" Jenner's boyfriend, Corey Gamble was then able to get the necessary credit.

Aside from talking about her newly-acquainted friend, Jennifer Lawrence also revealed how she became friends with Hollywood BFF Amy Schumer. "I emailed her after I saw 'Trainwreck' and said, 'I don't know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I'm in love with you. We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting."

The Hunger Games actress also spoke about their first project together - a screenplay for an upcoming comedy movie. "Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life," she said. "We're almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now."
