MTV VMAs 2015: Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly Gained Popularity Boost On Social Media

Justin Bieber and Tori Kelly both gained popularity boost after their separate amazing performances at the MTV Video Music Awards. Despite not winning an award, the two singers definitely stood out during the ceremony.

Tori Kelly belted out a remarkable performance of her 'Should've Been Us' single at the VMAs which amazed the audience. The 22-year-old singer performed her hit song with a guitar in her hand.  Her soulful rendition demonstrated her full range vocal talents. The rising singer and songwriter attracted the fans after hitting the stage.

Justin Bieber also gave an impressive performance at the ceremony hosted by Miley Cyrus. The 21-year-old hit the VMAS stage for the first time in five years. He gave an incredible rendition of his new singles 'Where Are You Now' and 'What Do You Mean'.

The singer who looked like just rehearsing on the stage with his black shirt and baseball cap on the head showed a notable performance. After presenting his vocal and dancing skills, the As Long As You Love Me singer wowed the audiences. Though notorious for being a brat in the industry, Bieber showed the deeper side of him when he broke down into tears after his performance.

After impressing the music lovers, both Tori Kelly and Justin Bieber became for popular on the social media. Even if they did not gained a 'Moonman' trophy, the two young singers sparked major interest among viewers.

Bieber earned the biggest spike from listeners on the music-streaming service Spotify for his music. The Baby singer's streams went up to 32% for his new single 'What Do You Mean?' after his live performance at the VMAS. Since its release in Friday, the new song gained an average of 4 million streams each day.

Around 39 million VMA-related interactions were recorded which include Bieber in the top five moments during the event. Kelly's performance of "Should've Been Us" also gained the most requests from viewers.
