Candice Accola has happily revealed that she will be expecting her first baby with new husband Joe King. 'The Vampire Diaries' star and the Fray guitarist announced the good news on Instagram by sharing a snapshot of their happy family.
On the photo posted by the actress, she showed off her baby bump. The matching outfits Candice and her husband wore add beauty to their excitement for the coming baby. Her new husband stood beside her wearing a white shirt with emblazoned with the word 'superdad'.
The 28-year-old star captioned the photo, "Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly."
The newlyweds were with the King's two daughters from her first marriage when he was still 19, Ava and Elise.
King also expressed his delight for the new blessing in an Instagram post using the same photo. He wrote, "Baby King on the way!!!! So proud to welcome this new life into the world with my beautiful wife and daughters. I truly am a lucky man & dad."
Candice plays the character of Caroline Forbes in the long-running TV series 'The Vampire Diaries'. The singer-actress will be back on the show on October 8 in the 7th season of the hit series.
In the upcoming season, the actress will no longer be working with the lead character of the show Nina Dobrev, who decided to leave after the 6th season.
Accola, 28 and King, 35 first met in a football event and decided to tie the knot in a French Quarter themed wedding October last year. Co-stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley were among the guests in attendance.
The actress has not yet confirmed if she will also be leaving The Vampire Diaries for her pregnancy. The baby bump of the actress will soon become even more noticeable so fans are wondering if she will be leaving the show to focus on her growing family.
