Rodman FBI Informant: Former Basketball Star Says FBI Wants To Use Him As An Informant

Although an odd choice for a diplomat or peacekeeping entity, Dennis Rodman turned heads in February when he was seen laughing and joking with North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un, while taking in a basketball game in the communist country.

Once he returned, Rodman explained that the FBI wanted information from him about his visit and the Kim Jong-Un administration, according to The Los Angeles Times.

"I have been contacted by the FBI and I met with them. They wanted to know what went on and who's really in charge in North Korea," Rodman said. "I have been invited back to North Korea in August and I want to go."

It seems like Rodman will get his chance to return, as he announced his plans for this summer at a gala he was attending in Miami.

"I'm going back August 1," he told Gossip Extra. "We have no plans really, as far as what we're going to do over there, but we'll just hang and have some fun!"

That's all, the kids just want to have some fun.

Rodman also said the Soviet Union has issued worse threats in the past than the North Koreans are at the moment, although they have stated they are ready to use nuclear weapons.

"The Russians were way out there, and they were acting on their threats," Rodman said. "He (Un) just wants to be loved. He just wants to sit down and talk. That's all."

The ex-bull and quasi-ambassador also said he would like to meet with President Barack Obama, although that is highly unlikely.
