A '16 Lensed' Camera By Light Revolutionizes Cam Concept

If one camera is not enough, then it's time to invest in something different, the newest Light L16 camera is not your typical everyday cam, it doesn't only have one good lens on it, it has 16.

The Light L16 lensed camera offers DSLR quality photos without the bulkiness of a DSLR. The lens in L16 doesn't have low resolutions as well; all of them are 13 mega-pixels.

The lenses range from 35 mm to 70 mm and to 150 mm. This allows the L16 to offer the user a wide array of photographic capabilities.

With the different lenses, the photographer can shoot wide angle, close up, zoomed in shots and it offers a 52 mega-pixel resolution.

L16's 10 camera modules fire simultaneously when the capture button is pressed, and the intelligent software of the camera then stitches all the 10 captured images, creating a high resolution image.

The camera is very flexible as well; it can be adjusted to give the photographer some amazing choices when taking pics. Such as sweet bokeh (background blur), light touts and many more.

L16 is powered by Android's wifi system, which means that photos can be directly uploaded to any smartphone that has connectivity with the camera. It is still not clear whether there will be an app for the L16 or it will go directly into the gallery.

It also shoots video up to 4k resolution with a 35 to 150 mm equivalent focal length. L16 boasts a 5 inch touch screen where the user can adjust the ISO, exposure, white balance and many others.

Light company believes that the L16 will change the face of the photographic society. But the price of L16 is not cheap, it is now preselling for a staggering $1,299. Once in stores it can shoot up to $1,699.

The L16 is expected to come out next summer.
