Esquire: Emilia Clarke as Sexiest Woman Alive

Esquire shows that a stunning balance of "strength and vulnerability" is what makes a woman envy-worthy when they called Emilia Clarke the sexiest woman for 2015.

Every girl must have envied the English actress Emilia Clarke who was just hailed by one of the most prevalent magazines, Esquire, as the "Sexiest Woman Alive" today. Year 2015 is hers and laughing indeed worked its miracles for her to succeed and catch GQ's heart when the magazine named her earlier this year as the "Woman of the Year" as well.

The 28-year-old Briton grabbed the attention of everyone (not only guys') when she played the role of the white-haired, immaculate Daenerys Targaryen, aka Khaleesi, aka Mother of Dragons on "Game of Thrones. It was in this show where her performance was commended and described as "mesmerizing" by The Boston Globe. Her role was indeed challenging as it called her to transition her acting from a frightened and meek sister to a courageous and empowered heir of a dynasty. Rolling Stone described her character as playfully confronting complex ideas about "sex, war, gender, race, politics and morality".

Her background in acting supports how Benjamin Markovits of Esquire described his conversation with the rising actress. "There's a kind of change of tone or pace that Emilia Clarke's very good at... It all shows up in her face if she wants it to-she's got great mobility of expression."

More than a beautiful actress with an alluring body, Emilia, who also starred in "Terminator: Genisys", undeniably knows what she is doing in the acting industry.

"She manages to bring together a number of opposites, to make them natural: sweetness and toughness, emotionalism with a kind of cold-blooded determination. Something in these contrasts explains her sex appeal, too. She can play queen and kid sister, dominatrix and pal," writes Esquire.
