Ariana Grande Dresses Up as a Cow for Halloween, Releases Her New Video 'Focus' That Channels a Hint of Drake's 'Hotline Bling' [VIDEO]

Ariana Grande chooses a costume that deviates from her usual feline preference as she appears on the Friday Halloween episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show.

She comes in as a sexy little cow costume complete with an udder. During her chat with Ellen, Ariana explained that she loves Halloween so much, even telling Ellen that moment when her mom smeared fake blood all over their walls when she was a little girl.

Ellen blindfolded her for a game called 'Ari Smells Ari" and made her sniff three men, two of them shirtless and she has to guess which of the three was wearing her signature fragrance. At one point, while feeling her way around the first guy's upper body, Ari shouted, "That's a nipple!," as she gushes, "Your heart is beating so fast!"

As for the reason why she wears a cow costume? A report from CNN, said that many people in China call Grande "little cow" or "xiao niu" because the popstar's voice reminds them of Mariah Carey's. The latter singer's nickname there is "Cow Sister," the outlet said. Seems like that was her way of honoring her fans in China!

Meanwhile, Ariana celebrated the release of her new single Focus at the Ariana Grande World Premiere Event on The Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater LA. Her performance was streamed live online for the world to see Focus is taken from her upcoming third studio album.

As for her music video, it was her signature futuristic feel, like that of her video for Break Free only that this time, she was donning a little bit of Drake's Hotline Bling video as she dances alone inside a white box, complete with lights and a cell phone the music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who is well known to have worked with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. Her look was on point, and there was a lot of grey hair, winged eyeliner and almost nude lips.
