Discover How One Mother Lost Astounding 145 Pounds Thanks to a Coupon and Boot Camp

It's an unending struggle for some--the weight game. Diets can go wrong and exercise can be hard to fit into a schedule. Yet there are some that are succeeding in astonishing and amazing ways. Torrie Creamer, a mother from Virginia, managed to drop an astounding 145 pounds--all with the help of boot camp, according to CNN.com. 

Creamer had struggled with her weight her whole life. In 2011, she reached a total weight of 322 lbs. That all changed, though, when she found a Living Social coupon for four weeks of boot camp classes for $25, according to the Daily Mail. Stunned by the price, she decided to give it a shot.

Boot camps have been on the rise in recent years--especially for women. With high intensity routines, these programs can whip people into shape.

For four weeks, Creamer sweat and endured the workouts. In the end, she lost a phenomenal 15 pounds. Encouraged by her success, she decided to continue. Unfortunately, she found out that she had be laid off of work, according to CNN.com. Yet several of the women in the class decided to chip in so that Creamer could continue to exercise. This, in particular, is what made Creamer more determined than ever to shed the pounds.

"I sat on my porch thinking to myself, 'These people don't know me,'" said Creamer in an interview with CNN.com. "At that moment I made the promise to myself...if these people were not letting me fail, then how can I let myself fail?"

Creamer continued going to boot camp and also began modifying her diet. Instead of a nightly bowl of ice cream, she instead drank a protein shake after dinner. She also cut out fried foods for lean meats, vegetables, yogurt and nuts, according to the Daily Mail. In the end, it paid off. Creamer is now 145 pounds lighter and happier for it.
