Looks like actress Susan Sarandon may have a new romantic partner.
Us weekly reported that the 67-year-old actress finally came clean about being romantically involved with her much younger business partner, Jonathan Bricklin. A source confirmed that the two have been a couple for a long time.
"Jonathan and I collaborate on different things. That means a lot of things," the actress tells AARP The Magazine in its February/March issue.
When asked if that means a romance, she says, "Yeah, I think so."
Sarandon and her 36-year-old boyfriend are co-investors of a popular ping-pong bar in New York City, called SPiN. Since beginning their business relationship, the two have been romantically linked but have regularly denied rumors that they were dating.
In April 2010, the two were photographed traveling together in Peru. During an interview with Katie Couric on the "Katie show," Sarandon admitted to hesitating when it comes to marriage.
"I believe in it for other people. I think if it works for you, that's fabulous," Sarandon told Couric in October 2012. "I don't know, I was always hesitant...this idea of locking it in. I thought it would make it less spontaneous."
After 23 years together Sarandon split with actor Tim Robbins in 2009. Sarandon and Robbins have two sons together, 25-year-old Jack and 17-year-old Miles. The actress told AARP that she had no regrets when is comes to her relationships.
"It's better to have made decisions that turned out badly and learn from them than to feel as if you had no choice and are resentful of the turns that your life takes," Sarandon said. "My life has been filled with happy accidents. The thing that's served me well is being able to change onto a different track when it's presented itself."
