The 28 year old english singer / musician Ellie Goulding revealed in an interview that she is that "annoyingly traditional" to pop the fan's most awaited engagement proposal to 27 year old singer boyfriend Dougie poynter. Ellie admits that she is madly in love and amazingly happy in her relationship with boyfriend Dougie Poynter. She said that she can foresee her future with him. She said that she wouldn't propose herself since she is sticking to the classic proposal which is the guy will be the one to propose and ask her to marry him.
Ellie said that she is on the go of making women do some things that the boys should do, but in this case, there is a side of her saying that she wanted the proposal in a traditional and romantic way. Ellie says that she grew up believing some normal things like having a church wedding and wearing an extravagant white dress even though people see her as quirky or weird because of the things that she does.
In 2012 Dougie was put to rehab because of liquor addiction and until now he has a pledge of avoiding the intoxicating drinks. Ellie admitted that there are times that she wanted to drink so much until she passes out but most of the time, she doesn't feel like drinking as much as before which is excessive, so. she find Dougie's pledge "totally cool".
The couple was rumored to dating back in Dec.2013 and still going strong up to now. Before faith brought Ellie and Dougie together, Ellie Goulding dated DJ Greg James and producer of Skrillex and still friends with the two. She said that she just don't let a lot of people come and go in her life but when she does, they are surely special to her.
