Starbucks Holiday Cups Blasphemous

Christians all around North America are insulted with the newest Starbucks holiday cup, which according to one post that became viral, the cup is devoid of any picture of both Christmas and Jesus Christ himself.

In a post by Joshua Feuestein on Facebook he said that Starbucks purposely removed Christmas from their cups because they hate Jesus.

This blatant accusation by Feuestein has become viral and the post has been viewed over 10 million times.

Feuestein also had a video uploaded, which urged customers and future buyers of Starbucks to give their names as "Merry Christmas" to force the employees and baristas of the mega coffee shop to say the phrase.

This movement of naming oneself as "Merry Christmas," has caught on in social media by Sunday. A hashtag that says, "MerryChristmasStarbucks" has been trending on twitter.

Since 1997, mega coffee shop chain, Starbucks, has been offering holiday cups with designs that vary year to year.

The design this year is a cup, which is "more open way to usher the holidays," Jeffrey Fields, the company's vice president on design and content, explained.

"Starbucks has become a place of sanctuary during the holidays, we're embracing the simplicity and the quietness of it," Fields said in a press release.

This event will not dampen any Christmas spirit of the employees of Starbucks; neither will it affect the company.

A small matter like this is only part of the ever growing fan base of the coffee shop, and ridiculous accusations are part of a successful business.

By the by, there is still no word whether the company plans to change the design of the cup or they will stick it through.

One thing is for sure, business goes on as usual and Christmas is still coming whether Starbucks neglected the Christmas spirit or not.
