Prince Harry met Harry Styles and it was EPIC!

When Harry met Harry, they might have taken a selfie...Or not, but at least the paparazzi did that for them during the Royal Variety Performance held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, on Friday.

According to People, Prince Harry jokingly asked One Direction's Harry Styles regarding his hair grooming. While meeting the group the prince turned to his namesake and burted, "When was the last time you had a haircut?" By which, the band was made at ease since they were reported to be having the jitters before meeting the prince.

That conversation reached the press afterwards, making the reporters fire the question of the possibility that Styles will cut his hair short and maybe grow some facial hair like that of the royals, to which he responded, "I'm not planning on it right now...No no I'm not growing any facial hair. At some point I'll be cutting it [the hair] for charity."

The show was hosted by British comedian Jack Whitehall and showed performances from pop princess Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin and Sir Elton John.

Whitehall did a comedic act at the expense of the prince by calling him "Harry the King of Banter" and recommended that it would be great if he'll be given the authority to be in charge of the country for a week. "You're the kind of guy on a night out who doesn't see a shopping trolley, but a ride home," he joked.

As if it was not enough, he even pointed out the prince's hair: "I wasn't belittling anything you did in the Army by the way - that was amazing. What you did in Afghanistan...a ginger guy stepping out in that heat. Wow. First time you get a Victoria Cross for just stepping out of the shade."

The prince was such a good sport, as Whitehall says, "He went in for the hand shake and pulled away. He's a good sport. He said he'd had a great time."

The show also featured performances from The Corrs, Josh Groban, Cirque du Soleil, Kacey Musgraves, Electric Light Orchestra and Little Mix.

The show will be broadcast on ITV in December.
