Ariana Grande Debuts Promo Video For New Ari Fragrance [WATCH]

Like any pop star, Ariana Grande has released her debut fragrance, Ari, and there’s an entire website dedicated to it. The site describes Ari as a “luscious and sexy fragrance” that “opens with sparkling fruits and an ultra-feminine floral, passionately spun with musks and woods and an addictive hint of marshmallow.”

Delicious.

The 22-year-old singer dropped her first perfume complete with a girly pink glass bottle and mini white pom poms earlier this fall and we’ve been lusting for it ever since.

Now, in keeping with the campaign’s Old Hollywood vibes, Ariana just released a retro-themed short film that falls somewhere between an old Audrey Hepburn movie and a music video for her new single “Focus.”

The clip begins with a blast of big band music as Grande’s name flashes across a nostalgia-tinted image of New York City’s skyline. The credits tell us the ad will serve as the debut appearance of Toulouse the Dog.

Grande hails a pastel purple taxi and tells the driverto rush her to 23rd and Broadway. She and her canine companion are apparently in a hurry.

The throwback-inspired clip is soundtracked by Ari’s new single “Focus,” which she dropped at the end of October, and it makes total sense.

When the cab driver asks her to sing a song for him, Ariana is more than happy to oblige, giving a flirty performance of her hit single, “Focus.”

Of course, being the sugary sweet pop singer that she is, Ariana can’t resist dancing and showing off her signature hair flip. Even the driver can’t help but focus on her and eventually sing along during the Jamie Foxx parts.

Upon arrival at 23rd and Broadway, Grande spritzes herself with the fragrance just as a flashbulb bursts and paparazzi begin to storm the cab. But rather than get out, Grande looks to the camera, declares “Let’s go girls!” and the cab drives away with her still lipsyncing for her life in the backseat.

As fans of the fragrance will know, Ariana’s first scent is every bit as girly and glamorous as the pop singer herself. “The scent is sweet, yet sexy, with some surprises underneath,” Ariana said of her self-named fragrance she created.

Ari includes notes of raspberry, vanilla orchid and marshmallow, and is now available for purchase in stores and online at Macy’s and other prestige department stores.
