'Loyal Customer' Gets His McDonald's Receipt Tattooed On His Forearm

It is not uncommon for someone to get a tattoo of something or someone that they admire or love, but it is uncommon for a person to tattoo his McDonald's receipt across his entire forearm.

The Huffington Post reported that Norwegian teen, Stian Ytterdahl, showed his love for cheeseburgers and McFlurries by getting a tattoo of the receipt on his arm. The 18-year-old reportedly got the tattoo after his friends became unhappy with his success with women at a local McDonald's.

Ytterdahl told the Norway's RB News that that his friends wanted to punish him for being "too active with the ladies, so they gave him the tattoo ultimatum--either get a Barbie tattoo on his butt or a tattoo of this McDonald's receipt on his arm. The young man decided to go with the second option.

"Some of my mates thought I had been a bit too active on the ladies front recently and wanted to punish me," Ytterdahl said. "When we were in the restaurant on Monday, they said I had to tattoo a Barbie doll on my bum, or the receipt on my arm."

Ytterdahl told Norway's RB News: "It's fun to think about that I have a tattoo no one else has ever seen before. Even the date and time is on my arm."

Ytterdahl said that he plans on going back to the tattoo parlor to pick up the original receipt to keep as a souvenir. A spokeswoman from McDonald's Norway has called the teenager a "loyal customer," but not everyone is pleased with Ytterdahl's stint.

"I got an email from my dad that wasn't entirely positive, saying 'What on earth have you done?! Do you think you are coming home with that!? Your mother has had a break down,"' Ytterdahl said.

The tattoo shows time and date of his visit on Monday night, along with the chain's address and phone number. The receipt is for three cheeseburgers, a happy meal, a coke and a McFlurry. Ytterdahl said this first tattoo will not be his last. The tattoo parlor offered to ink the receipt for free.

"Now I'm a living billboard, but I think all this is just fun," he said. "Maybe it's not as fun when I'm 50 or 60 years old, but it's my choice."
