Know About Hybrid Plants, Pizza Good For Three Years And Other Foods of the Future

We are now fast approaching 2016, which means we are past the year of Back To The Future. We are now in the future and speaking of which, allow us to tell you some of the food that we might all be encountering soon. Foodbev.com shared some of these and they are quite interesting, like a hybrid plant that grows tomatoes and potatoes (aka tomtato) at the same time.

That was just one of the future foods they shared and they added sherbert-lemon-tasting Brussels sprouts. But probably this last thing that will be revealed will be loved by many because it's a pizza that could still be edible after 3 years.

The food of the future is actually a theme conceptualized by BBC network for a TV show called Tomorrow's Food. On this show people also discover about 3D printed pasta and biscuits along with some seaweed-derived alginate pills. These pills are amazing because they could turn eating cake into a weight loss food. It is going to be amazing that in the future one can finally eat cake to lose weight.

This show will feature the progress that the human race has come in combining food and technology. Dara O Biain is the person behind the concept of this BBC show and it would present a lot of information containing what is new and what are future products evolving from farms, groceries, kitchens and restaurants globally.

Lots of inventors are rising these days and people don't sleep just to innovate something. Take for example the TomTato, which was developed in Suffolk and originated from a tomato vine partnered with a potato plant under it. The horticultural firm who owns it is producing about 500 of these per plant.
