Mancan: Wine In Can Now Exists To Fit Your Manly Needs

Out in a bar with the guys, do you find it less manly to hold a glass of wine than a bottle of beer? Well cheer up because wine in cans now actually exists to fit your manly needs.

Metro UK reports Mancan is made exactly for those who think they're too masculine to drink wine in public. Available in sparkling, red and white, Mancan serves your drink of choice in an appropriately manly package.

This genius idea went into Graham Veysey's mind when he was in a bar with a friend who was drinking a can of beer. Although he wished to order sauvignon blanc or pinot, he did not want to look less manly drinking from a stemmed glass.

And the rest was history.

"Mancan sources great California grapes for a set of specially designed blends: a light and refreshing white, a rich and satisfying red, and a bright and delicious fizz," according to its website. "We probably could have skimped with wine that tastes just ok," the statement adds, but they didn't. "This wine is delicious and easy to drink."

Mancan is available at $77 per can. But does it affect the taste? Mancan says "no way".

"All of our cans have a special lining on the interior, so the wine never touches aluminium, and the taste isn't affected," the website states. "Same great taste if you pour it into a tumbler glass or swig it straight from the can like we do."

Drinking wine in cans also has other advantages aside from its macho perks. "Cans are easier to drink from and to take with you," Mancan.com explains. "They eliminate the barriers of stemware and corkscrews."

And it's environmental friendly too! According to them, tin cans are way easier to recycle than large bottles and plastic containers.
