Joan Rivers Dies: The End Of Comedy At 81

Joan Rivers Dies - The Actress, Comedian, Producer, Writer and Television Host died today. The announcement was made by Melissa Rivers, her daughter.

When Joan Rivers dies a big hole is opened. She was a very successful woman in everything she did ever since she started her career and appeared in the late 1950's in a play called Driftwood where her role was a lesbian with a crush on no more and no less than Barbra Streisand. Then, in 1965 she appeared and met Johnny Carson, who hosted The Tonight Show and she would later become his "daughter," according to her because Carson had mentored her and big part of her humor was learnt at this time and polished with him.

It was later in the 80's that she did some important appearances and started doing regularly Stand-up shows. These were done until her very last days. As we have stated, last week, before she was operated, she made a Stand-up show the night before and even joked about her death.

When Joan Rivers dies the humor that she wanted doesn't disappear. Her Daughter Melissa said "My mother's greatest joy was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."

Just like Melissa said in that statement, if Joan Rivers dies it is not easy to keep a happy expression or to laugh at things, but she was always good at it and that might help to remember and take advantage of those times to bring a smile to everyone's face.

When Joan Rivers dies, it's time to remember some of her best sayings. One was, "I enjoy life when things are happening. I don't care if it's good things or bad things. That means you're alive. Things are happening." She definitely enjoyed until her last breath and it is a life that has to be celebrated now and in memory.
