Panera Guns Policy: The Eatery Is Stricken By “Warmth” Vs. Guns Brought By Costumers

Panera Bread Guns - The place tries to transmit "warmth and welcome" feelings to the newcomers and is stricken by the fact that costumers bring guns to the shop.

Panera Bread is a shop specialized in the making and selling of bread, muffins, etc. It has 1,800 shops, including 45 states the United States and also, several others in Canada.

They have been successful in the business and also try to make a difference when it comes to society. In their Webpage, they make different campaigns to help community and feed them. For example, they have "A Mission Of Bread And Hope," in which Paul Menzel gets on his van and goes through different homeless tents to leave bread for them every Sunday.

In an attempt to improve society through more physical means, Panera Bread has asked the costumers to drop the guns, by not bringing them to the shop at least.

The CEO of Panera Bread has said about this Guns Policy, "Within our company, we strive to create Panera Warmth. This warmth means bakery-cafes where customers and associates feel comfortable and welcome. To this end, we ask that guns not be brought into this environment unless carried by an authorized law enforcement officer."

This message about guns is a strong one. There are certain states in the U.S. like Texas where guns are part of the culture. People carry them not just to use them, but they have become a part of "fashion" almost, to put it in a way. They go with people, simple as that.

So asking to not bring the guns to Panera is controversial as the CEO Ronald Sachs has been trying for this regulation to work, but of course, he has people who complain at it and are not thoroughly excited about it.

The No Guns Policy of Panera might be the beginning of many other stores to take upon it as well and attending shops without any possible threat in visibility could become the new regulation little by little.
