Mariah Carey is definitely riding high this Christmas and to add up to her price tag she is reportedly set to receive a $300,000 (£199,179) for just an hour of store appearance.
The said event that Mariah Carey is set to grace her presence with will be at Pier 1 pop up store in New York on Tuesday December 2, 2015. In the said event the songstress is not even required to do any musical performance at all.
A source has told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column, "Let's call it 45 minutes,she specifically wanted (it noted) that she was 'appearing' not 'performing'. They (fans) would have loved her to perform but just getting her is worth it."
According to the source of the publication Mariah got a confirmed approval of the invite and she is set to arrive after the guests at around 7:30pm. The Diva wants to be dubbed as the 'Queen of Christmas' in the said event.
The source further discloses that "she has to do nothing" and that she just has to "Show up, wave a little, talk to a few pre-approved outlets. She's in town, so why not make all the money you can?"
Pier 1 is a furniture and home decor retailer, and according ti their representative in her statement to Confidenti@l: "We are very excited to be working with Mariah Carey this holiday season, but we do not comment on private business matters."
Mariah is also set to perform in 'Hot for the Holidays' in New Jersey on December 5, 2015, an event organized by famous rapper Busta Rhymes.
Mariah is said to be an avid fan of the Holiday Season and has a busy Christmas season ahead of her. Her directorial Christmas piece, 'Christmas Melody will debut on America's Hallmark Channel later this month and she also has a new children's book which was named after her renowned Christmas hit 'All I want for Christmas is You' which was released on shelves last November 10, 2015.
She is also a mother to twins Moroccan and Monroe from her former husband Nick Cannon.
