Taste of Night Market

People from the Westside, get ready to experience a night market organized by the people who are behind 626 Night market, which is only the biggest night market in the US. Taste of Night is a two-day (and night) food festival that aims to showcase diverse cuisine from around the globe made by local chefs and upcoming cooking talents and restaurants. This is also a way to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Taste of Night Market will take place at The Barker Hangar, 3021 Airport Ave., Santa Monica, February 5-6. Tickets are $65-$85 and can be purchased online.

L.A. Cookie Con & Sweets Show

L.A. Cookie Con & Sweets Show is known as the biggest baking and sweets convention at the West Coast. The two-day event will be flooded with hundreds of cookies and cupcakes, meet and greets with world renowned chefs and bakers. Goers can also enjoy and participate in baking demos and workshops. There is also a cookie baking contest for interested contestants, the one with the best recipe wins!

L.A. Cookie Con & Sweets Show will take place February 5-6 at The Los Angeles Convention Center. Tickets are $27-$50 and can be purchased online.

Little Dom's Mardi Gras Feast

Unlike the usual Mardi Gras celebration, New Orleans native and chef Brandon Boudet is throwing of a cultural food fest at Little Dom's this weekend, from Saturday to Fat Tuesday. Guests-locals and tourists, can choose from native delicacies and dishes like gumbo, jambalaya and Creole classics.

Chocolate and Art Show


If you need more chocolates this February, you probably want to go to Chocolate and Art Show, a food event that will showcase works of amateur artists and photographers. Plus, there's a chocolate fountain for every one too. Chocolate and art are literally flowing. The two-night festival of arts and cacao will feature live music, body painting booths and portrait making artists where you can have yourself drawn!

Chocolate and Art Show takes place February 19-20, from 7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m, atKGB Studios, 1640 N. Spring Street. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or online.

4th Annual Vegan Chili Cook Off

For four consecutive years, the Annual Vegan Chili Cook Off will take place in February featuring some of the biggest vegan chefs like Michael Falso of The Springs and Sage Organic Vegan Bistro's Mollie Engelheart. They will be competing with other chefs who will be seeking to be declared as the best. A panel of judges including chef Tal Ronnen of Crossroads Kitchen, who are going to be the head judge. With only $10 admission fee, you can witness this kitchn clash and have a chance to choose the People's Choice Winner too!

4th Annual Vegan Chili Cook Off takes place on Sunday, February 28 at Tony's Darts Away, 1710 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank
