Oscars 2016 Best Moments: Morgan Freeman Steals Girl Scout Cookies From Chris Rock

Spotlight may win the Best Picture at the 88th Academy Awards but it's Morgan Freeman who managed to steal the spotlight after getting on stage just to steal Girl Scout Cookies from Chris Rock!

Despite the fact that Chris Rock brought shortbreads on stage, the 'London Has Fallen' star took a time to calmly approach the Oscar host, grab the cookies from his hand, and leave the stage shortly after. Earlier that day, Chris Rock helped his daughters to sell cookies and forced the Hollywood A-listers to cash out for the shortbreads. The cookies raised $65,000. As for Freeman, he cleverly waited till the end of the show to opt for the cookies, for free.

Before Rock finished wrapping up the night, Freeman snatched the cookies and strutting out of stage like a boss. He didn't seem excited to give hugs to celebrate the movie of the year. Freeman even ignored what Rock was saying.

The 2016 Oscars highlighted about racism in Hollywood as Rock said in his opening monologue, "You realize, if they nominated hosts, I wouldn't even get this job!" To name some, he even mocked celebrities and Hollywood elites, from Jada Pinkett Smith boycotting the show to dissing the ladies who would only care about their outfits on the red carpet.

Other highlights of the evening include Leonardo DiCaprio's first Oscar after 25 years of hard work in the film industry. He won the Best Actor for his role in The Revenant. Accepting the award, DiCaprio thanked the men behind The Revenant and not to forget addressing climate change issue - which he has relentlessly been working on.

As for the most anticipated highlight of the evening would be the Spotlight's Producer Steve Golin's acceptance speech. He clearly pointed out to the Vatican saying that it's time to protect the children and restore the faith.
