Kesha, the award winning pop singer, has sued her producer for among other things, sexual and physical assault. Dr. Luke has been Kesha's producer since she was 18, a period in which Kesha admits, has been one of the toughest periods of her life, to the point that she nearly died.
Kesha got into her contract with Dr. Luke when she was eighteen years old, just off her juvenile years. Kesha's career sky rocketed with the singer releasing multiple pop hits that have gotten the singer multiple nominations and awards.
Kasha has now filed a laws suit against her producer Dr. Luke for sexually assaulting her. She claims Dr. Luke also physically, verbally and emotionally assaulted her for the period they were working together. Kesha goes ahead to explicitly claim that Dr. Luke used drugs and other harmful substances to distract her and to remove her resistances.
On one occasion, they were getting on a plane and Dr. Luke forced her to snort some drug before they boarded. During the trip, he allegedly forced himself onto the singer while she was drugged.
On a different occasion, kesha claims that she was forced to drink, and afterwards Dr. Luke gave her what she termed as sober pills. Kesha claimed she woke up the next morning in Dr. Luke's bed, sore, sick and with no idea what had happened the previous day.
There was also physical abuse. Kesha claims that on one occasion, Dr. Luke attacked her at his Malibu residence, throwing his arms at her. Kesha says she had to run away from the house, barefoot, and hid in the mountains.
Dr. Luke also allegedly verbally abused the singer, calling her "a fat f***ing refrigerator." He also allegedly claimed "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me."
The abuse, kasha explains, led to her eating disorder and her stint at rehab.
