Olivia Benson, Taylor Swift's cat, Gets her Big Break on the Big Screen with Taylor by her Side

Taylor Swift's cat is now an international actress. Olivia Benson, Taylor's cat, got her big break on the big screen with Taylor's new Diet Coke ad that has gone viral way before it's been released.

Taylor Swift's diet coke is truly something for everyone. Talk Taylor, a diet coke, her new single and kittens, lots of kittens. The new ad would appeal to both the pop singing youth and the cat loving grandmums at the old people's home.

The commercial begins with Taylor drinking a diet coke, before her cat Olivia Benson, comes up. Then more kittens begin to show up, one after another, with Taylor's latest single playing in the background. The ad ends with Taylor revealing the release date for her next album 1989! The date is October 27.

Olivia Benson certainly has earned herself quite the overnight success. However, with great fame comes criticism, and Olivia's first critic may be in John Cleese.

Cleese, the British comedian, joked that Taylor's cat Olivia, wasn't too good looking. While on the Graham Norton Show, the talk show host showed the audience a photo of the singer's two cats. Taylor has two cats. She is such a cat lover. The star constantly keeps her Instagram followers ogling at her cats through regular posts of them. It explains why Coke would see her as the best fit for the ad.

"It's the weirdest cat I have ever seen in my life," Cleese told Swift. He even inquired whether the cat had been in any accident before. Taylor was of course shocked, but she took the criticism in a stride.

The new single that plays in the background of the ad is part of Taylor's new album 1989! In the song, we can hear the chorus go "And that's how it works, how you get the girl, girl." The track is more like "Shake it Off."
