XL Foods Inc. based in Alberta, Canada, has taken full responsibility for the E. coli contamination in its beef products which has prompted a massive beef recall throughout US and Canada. Numerous retailers in the US including Albertson's, Kroger, Ralph's and Walmart were stocked with the recalled beef. Recalls Issued for Salmonella in Peanut Butter, E. Coli in Ground Beef, and Listeria in Romaine Lettuce
