Valentine's Day special: Easy Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

Ingredients

1 basket of strawberries
1/2 cup white sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 packet of whipping cream
Vanilla
1 cake (any style you like), cut into cubes

Directions

1. Wash and cut strawberries in half.
2. Add sugar and mix well with strawberries.
3. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar well in a bowl.
4. Whip the cream, adding a drop of two of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
4. Fold in whipped cream and cake cubes and spread cake into a 13x9 dish.
6. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
7. Cut cake into squares and top with strawberries.
