Lisa Turtle Reunion: Why Wasn’t Lark Voorhies At ‘Saved By The Bell’ Reunion With Jimmy Fallon, Plus Screech? [VIDEO]

In the latest viral video to come out from Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show," most of the cast from the beloved 90s sitcom "Saved by the Bell" appeared in a flashback of the show - however, at least two people were missing, Dustin Diamond (Screech) and Lark Voorhies, so Lisa Turtle's reunion with her school friends wasn't possible.

According to the show's IMDb Trivia page, Lisa Turtle's reunion with the cast could've not happened at all featuring Lark Voorhies, as the character had been originally written to be a Long Island Jewish girl who had moved to California - but, in any case, more than two decades later, she was definitely missed in the "Saved by the Bell" reunion.

As Food World News reported last December, Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in the show and has been long estranged from the rest of the "Saved by the Bell" cast (he even wrote a sensationalist book about what went on in the set), was arrested for concealed weapons and is now in the midst of serious legal issues, though E! Online says that his reps stated that Diamond actually had "prior commitments" and was thus unable to attend.

But why wasn't the character Lisa Turtle at reunion?

"Lark would have loved to be part of the Jimmy Fallon skit (as she is a big fan of the show), however due to an intense work schedule she was not available," Voorhies' publicity people told E! Online, when asked why Lisa Turtle's reunion wasn't part of the big appearance at "The Tonight Show."

While nobody doubts that's what's been going on with Voorhies, there's a lot of doubt surrounding whether Diamond really missed the show because he was too busy - in fact, a source told Hollywood Life that he wasn't invited due to the fact that the rest of the cast didn't want to deal with him, so Fallon went ahead and did the skit without him.

In any case, issues or not between Screech and the rest, he was certainly missed from the hilarious video - and so was Lisa Turtle's reunion appearance!
