‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: HBO CONFIRMS Show Will Spoil George R. R. Martin’s ‘Song Of Ice And Fire’ Books [VIDEO]

Fans of the "Song of Ice and Fire" books are always a step ahead than those who only watch the popular HBO epic fantasy show, as they always know exactly what's about to happen to everyone's favorite and least favorite characters - but now it has been confirmed that, at some point, it'll be "Game of Thrones" spoilers for those who've only read the books.

There's a string of reaction videos on YouTube in which people who've read the book series film their friends while watching important scenes such as the Red Wedding or the death of the most hated character of all, King Joffrey - but now it'll be them suffering from "Game of Thrones" spoilers.

According to Vanity Fair, Dan Weiss and David Benioff, the show runners for the popular HBO show, have now confirmed the "Game of Thrones" spoilers, saying that, due to the fact that author George R. R. Martin still hasn't finished the book series (as he has still two novels to publish) and they have to keep filming even when they're out of actual book material.

However, as Rolling Stone Magazine reports, the "Game of Thrones" spoilers will be based completely on Martin's ideas for the characters, as Weiss and Benioff have spoken at length with the writer, who's explained to them in detail what exactly happens with each of the characters, even though he still hasn't written the novels - as he's writing the second-to-last right now.

The show runners explain that they wish they didn't have to give readers some of the major "Game of Thrones" spoilers, but they're currently "stuck between a rock and a hard place" and they'll have to keep the HBO show running even if it means having to show what happens before Martin does.

According to The Independent, Weiss and Benioff's statement (which happened at the Oxford Union) said that, while there may be some "deviations" from Martin's ideas, the characters' endings will be the same the author has thought of.
