Mackenzie Moretter: [+PHOTOS] From Zero to 300, People Flocked At Mackenzie Moretter Birthday Party After 10 Guests Declined Her Invite

Mackenzie Moretter, the girl diagnosed with Sotos syndrome at age one was supposed to have 10 guests for her birthday party on Saturday.

However, after inviting, they didn't respond. Feeling frustrated, Mackenzie's parents, Jenny Moretter and Matt Moretter took to Facebook their invite and the next thing that happened was history.

Mackenzie Moretter mother, Jenny Moretter will not let her girl be turned down on her big day. She has to do something and that would mean that she has to change everything in just a matter of 12 hours before it will be Mackenzie Moretter birthday at Shakopee, Minnesota.

Every other would want to see their children happy and this is what triggered Mackenzie Moretter mom to do the same. She started posting a shout out to her friends in Facebook hoping that her invite could gather responses just to see her daughter, Mackenzie Moretter happy on her 10th birthday.

"Hello moms (sic). I'm writing because I have a beautiful daughter named Mackenzie who is turning 10. I recently invited several girls to her birthday party this Saturday. I got cancellations or no calls at all saying whether they're coming or not," Mackenzie Moretter mom wrote.

She continued, "My daughter has Sotos Syndrome which means she has development delays such as speech and learning. At school she struggles and is often alone on the playground. As a mother, it is heartbreaking being you want your children to be happy."

"I'm reaching out to moms who have daughters between the age of 9-11 that would love to come to a birthday party tomorrow from 11-1:30. You don't have to bring gifts or stay long, just stop by and wish her a happy birthday. As of now, I have two girls coming which is family."

She would be so surprised to have other girls just show up. If you are interested please send me a pm and I'll give you my address. Thank you all for reading a mother's wish!"

Her Mackenzie Moretter mother Facebook post rang to hundreds of her friends. It took the internet by storm that it even caught the attention of the local media, the PEOPLE reports.

It was supposed to be a simple birthday bash, but it turned out to a memorable big event at the park where 300 people gathered to celebrate with Mackenzie Moretter on her day.

 Mackenzie Moretter parents were touched and amazed on how people flocked to celebrate with her daughter on her special day.  

It was not all that surprised everyone, but Shakopee Mayor Brad Tabke officially announced that April 18, 2015 was "Mackenzie Moretter Day," the USA Today reports.  Mackenzie Moretter received a certificate proving that day is the official declaration.

To tour Mackenzie Moretter hundreds of guests, the Shakopee Fire Department also dropped by. Many people and companies donated foods including Sam's Club and Mr. Pigs Stuffed BBQ and Catering that gave free foods and beverages to serve Mackenzie Moretter guests.

Mackenzie Moretter was so happy that people who attended all helped to make her birthday special. There was also a woman who was dressed as "Elsa" (Frozen) to make Mackenzie Moretter happy because she is her favorite cartoon character.

Mackenzie Moretter parents were not alone in managing the big event as the Shakopee council also take part in organizing the grand party.

According to Jenny Moretter, Mackenzie Moretter always wishes to have playmates as she claims no one wants to play with her. She had no friends, although children seem to like her, they find it hard to socialize with her.

After Mackenzie Moretter birthday, her mother expressed her wish to thank everyone who made her daughter's birthday so special. She ended that since Mackenzie Moretter was born, she has made a unique mark on the world. She's been a light to everyone that knows her.
