Rosario Dawson ‘Daredevil’ CONFIRMED: ‘Sin City’ Star Returns For Netflix ‘Daredevil’ Season 2!

Hell's Kitchen would be a terrible place without the nurse that always comes to Matt Murdock's rescue after he gets in the most absurd fights, and now Rosario Dawson's "Daredevil" return is officially confirmed, as she has reportedly signed a new contract with Marvel.

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe keeps growing, from huge productions like the recently released sequel "Avengers: Age of Ultron" to the two ABC series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Agent Carter" and the upcoming Netflix shows leading up to "Defenders," it's refreshing to see old faces coming back to the MCU, such as Rosario Dawson in "Daredevil."

According to Coming Soon, the new Rosario Dawson "Daredevil" contract won't only see the talented 36 year-old coming back to Hell's Kitchen, but she could also expand her role to the next Netflix shows such as "A.K.A. Jessica Jones" and follow-ups "Luke Cage" and "The Defenders."

As Slash Film reports, the first Rosario Dawson "Daredevil" appearance marked her character, nurse Claire Temple, only appeared sporadically in the first season of the show, in a sort of romance with star Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) which doesn't ever really happen because of him pushing her away and her worrying about his superhero ways.

"After working with Rosario in the first season, we knew instantly that we had to have her back for our second," said Marvel TV Executive Producer/Head Jeph Loeb in a statement published in their website. "Claire Temple proved a fan favorite in Season 1, and we can't wait for fans to see all the plans we have for her next."

The Netflix show, much darker in theme that the rest of the MCU projects, also stars Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Eldren Henson as Foggy Nelson, Bob Gunton as The Owl and Vincent D'Onofrio in the role of Marvel supervillain Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin.

Rosario Dawson's "Daredevil" return is scheduled for spring 2016.
