Matthew Lewis: Has More Than Just A ‘Longbottom’ In ‘Attitude’ Magazine [PHOTOS]

Matthew Lewis was well-known for his chubby and adorable portrayal of Neville Longbottom for the "Harry Potter" movie series. For years, Lewis has been showing everyone his transformation from a young little boy to a man. In fact, his hunky change has been dubbed "The Neville Effect."

Now, the beloved Neville Longbottom is long gone but seems as though Lewis is here to stay. He's recently been revealed to be the June cover star for Attitude Magazine, where he strips down to nothing but tighty whities and a green cardigan.

Showing off his rocking bod and drool-worthy abs, the photo very much looks like Calvin Harris' Emporio Armani shoot. The new issue features a "swimwear and underwear special" which includes Matthew taking off his vest to boast of his sexy six pack.

Attitude Magazine even took to announce the news on Twitter. "We're SO excited to unveil our new cover star - the amazing @Mattdavelewis! New issue out NOW," they said with a link and photo attached.

Even "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling had to give her two cents on it. "@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake," she tweeted.

Lewis then replied to her tweet saying, "Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo..."

She followed up with another tweet, "@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on."

"Harry Potter" fans are crooning over the latest news to trend on the Internet. Lewis even talked humbly about his appearance, "I've never considered myself to be good looking at all. Just average."

Matthew Lewis is set to star in the romantic comedy "Me Before You" where he plays a triathlete. His new role in the romantic comedy required Lewis to become more buff.

He says he's been straying away from carbs and alcohol, and even shaved his leg hair for the role. Lewis had to put on prosthetics and a fat suit for his "Harry Potter" role, which is a far cry from his new look.

Matthew will be starring alongside Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin, Charles Dance, and Jenna Coleman for the movie out next month.
