Google To Release New Smartphone Android One

Android lovers around the globe will surely be delighted as multinational tech company Google will be launching their new smartphones on July 14. The coming event includes the presentation of the company's latest Android One and the introduction of the new Nexus 5 (2015) created by LG and Huawei.

Android One, Google's affordable version in the Android line-up will be the main focus of the said event. Even though this Android operating system is based off the market of India, the new product is not intended only for the country but also for other Asian cities.

Google first announced the so called "Android One" project back in June 2014. The main goal of the project is to produce low-end smartphones that have price tags beginning at $100. They also plan to provide updates on these smartphones authored straight from Google.

According to the Economic Times, the company will be developing a new strategy starting on July 14 to improve their products' popularity.

While the original goal of the tech company is to promote affordability, this approach however led to slow acceptance because of the encountered difficulty in terms of funding and marketing their products.

To solve the dilemma, the new Google Android One smartphones will be more focused on catering the general smartphone buyers and not the first-time users, as what they have done before. This means that their new gadgets will be in mid-ranged level instead of accommodating entry-level specs smartphones.

This will then compete directly against their rivals such as the Motorola's G line up and other China-made phones, like those of the Xiaomi brand.

As of the moment, the details of the new Google phones are not yet fully available. Leaks and some sources reported that the Lava International will be the one to manufacture the Android One phones.

Rumors also say that RAM will be improved to 2 GB, internal storage will level up between 8 to 16 GB, and battery size and the display screen will be increased.
