Ezra Miller Wants To Race Grant Gustin! The Movie Flash Talks About TV Flash And How He Really Feels About Playing Barry Allen [VIDEO]

The DC Cinematic Universe officially has two Barry Allens, one for the CW series The Flash and one for the upcoming standalone movie set for release in 2018.

Director Phil Lord has previously confirmed that Ezra Miller will portray Barry Allen in The Flash solo film. "I believe it's going to be Barry Allen," Lord had said.

Miller himself confirmed to MTV that he is excited to play The Silver Age Flash in the film.

"Barry Allen is the hero of the Silver Age, who follows a lot of really interesting discoveries in physics," Miller said. "Where he comes from, we discover the Event Horizon is there, and he was the character that was created through our mythos machine of comic books, to break that Event Horizon and explore in fantasy. I think that's a most interesting idea."

"And what's an interesting idea for me is, 'what does that do to someone?'"

The star of 'Stanford Prison Experiment' also admitted that he was a fan of the CW series The Flash, which stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen.

"I think it's awesome," Miller said. "And come on, we're The Flash! It's parallel universe. Grant Gustin is The Flash, I'm The Flash. It's the Event Horizon."

"Grant and I are chillin'," he added. "We're gonna have a race, it's gonna be dope. Just like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day, it's gonna be dope."

Ezra Miller's excitement over getting the role is evident in the interview. He confirmed that he has been a fan of the comic book and is going into the film "as hard as possible."

"I have the ultimate license to geek out so hard all the time," he declared.

Miller might also have a cameo appearance in the upcoming DC film 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' It was reported that The Flash and Aquaman will appear in one scene involving Batman hacking into the Lexcorp computers.
