Brad Pitt Gets New Tattoo To Honor Angelina Jolie And Their Kids

Brad Pitt just got inked to honor his wife, Angelina Jolie, and their six kids.

US Weekly reports that on his forearm, the Fury actor got a split cell chart tattoo with an "A" on one side, Angelina's initial, and his kids', Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, on the other side.

Aside from his new ink, Brad also has Angelina's birth date tattooed on his torso. These are additions to his collection of body ink since his first, a line from 13th century poet, Rumi on his right arm. "There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there," it reads.

Angelina, on the other hand, has a dozen tattoos and some of them, too, were inked as a tribute to their family.

On her left arm, she covered her ex-husband, Billy Bob Thornton's name, with the geographic coordinates (latitudes and longitudes) of the birth locations of each of their family members. N11° 33' 00" E104° 51' 00" for Maddox in Cambodia, N09° 02' 00" E038° 45' 00" for Zahara in Ethiopia, S22° 40' 26" E014° 31' 40" for Shiloh in Namibia, N10° 46' 00" E106° 41' 40" for Pax in Vietnam, N43° 41' 21" E07° 14' 28" for each of the twins, and Brad Pitt's birth place in Oklahoma.

On her left shoulder blade is a Buddhist Pali Incantation in Khmer script that translates: "May your enemies run far away from you. If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always. Your beauty will be that of Apsara. Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surrounding you on all sides." Tattooed by Noo (aka Sompong) Kanhphaiin, the actress reportedly got this to protect her and her first son Maddox from harm.
