Candace Cameron Bure The View: Ahead Of ‘Fuller House,’ DJ Tanner Could Join Whoopi Goldberg Afer Raven-Symone Controversy

A few days back, Candace Cameron View's "The View" appearance made headlines all over the country, when the "Full House" actress and mom made some fairly controversial comments about the case of the Oregon bakers who refused to make a cake for a gay wedding - but the attention may have gotten her a new gig!

In the recent headlines-making Candace Cameron Bure's "The View" event, the 39 year-old actress told fellow grown child actress, Raven-Symone from "The Cosby Show," that she didn't think the case had been one of discrimination at all.

"I don't think this is discrimination at all. This is about freedom of association," went Candace Cameron Bure's July 7 comments. "It's about constitutional rights. It's about First Amendment rights. We do have the right to still choose who we associate with."

According to Us Weekly, this may have made Candace Cameron's Bure "The View" seat a keeper! Her new contract, which she's currently in talks of, would allow her to continue shooting Netflix's reboot "Full House," a show she's the star of, co-starring Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

Her contract would allow her to participate on the New York show some weeks as she flies back to Los Angeles some other weeks to shoot the very hyped revival series.

Just Jared reports that it wouldn't be just Candace Cameron Bure's "The View" joining in, as Paula Faris is also in talks to step into the show, after Rosie O'Donnell left earlier this year and Rosie Perez followed a few months later.

According to The Daily Mail, due to Faris' commitments on "GMA Weekend," she'd only be a part of "The View" from Monday through Thursdays, as it appears both new stars will be signing their contracts very soon.

In any case, it's a big year for the woman who became famous playing D.J. Tanner, between the Netflix reboot and Candace Cameron Bure's "The View" contract!
