John Stamos, Fresh from Rehab, Back to Work

John Stamos, 51,  is back from rehab after he finished his one-year stint last Friday, and over the weekend, he posted a picture of himself back in the set of Fuller House, a Netflix original series.

Last month, Stamos was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) after Beverly Hills residents noticed a car driving erratically in their neighborhood. After being charged, he checked himself in for rehab for substance abuse, Huffington Post reports.

When he returned, he was busy in social media posting pictures of a healthier Stamos working out. He also posted thank you messages for his friends and loved ones who supported him throughout his trying times.

Stamos is back on the set of 'Fuller House', a spin-off of the 80's hit series, 'Full House'. He still plays the same character 'Jesse', the uncle of the children, an exterminator turned rock musician. He posted a photo of himself outside the trailer onset. Aside from being one of the actors in this series, he is also the show's producer.

Many actors from the original series have also signed up. Candace Cameron - Bure, who plays as one of children in 'Full House' was quoted saying they are glad he is back.

'Full House' was created by Jeff Franklin for ABC. It aired for 8 years from 1987 to 1995. It is a story about a widowed father who had to bring up his three daughters.  He asked for the help of his best friend, Joey Gladstone who works as a stand-up comedienne. Dave Coulier plays Joey.  Uncle Jesse is the children's uncle, the brother-in-law of the widower.  It is the character played by John Stamos.

In 'Fuller House', the story casts the spotlight on DJ Tanner, played by Candace Cameron - Bure. She is now a veterinarian and a recently widowed mother of two boys and pregnant with no. 3.

The original series also cast the Olsen twins who shared the character of the baby of the family, Michelle.  They are, however, not part of the spin-off series.
