‘The Big Bang Theory’ Cast: Kaley Cuoco Leads Forbes Highest Paid TV Actress List, Ties With Sofia Vergara In ‘Modern Family’!

A few days back, the "Big Bang Theory" cast made headlines after Forbes posted its annual list of highest-paid television actors, focusing on male stars first, as Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki turned out to be the top two, with co-stars Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg remaining in the top 10 - and now, it's time for female stars' list!

As it had been previously thought considering Kaley Cuoco's salary currently stands at the $1 million per episode mark, the female lead of the "Big Bang Theory" cast was the highest-paid actress of the 2014-2015 period ... or, at least, she's tied in the first spot with the star of "Modern Family," Sofia Vergara, earning $28.5 million in the past year.

According to The Daily Mail, this is the fourth year in a row that the Colombian-born star leads the list, and while the "Big Bang Theory" cast's leading lady is no stranger to being among the first spots in Forbes, this is the first time she makes the top.

Interestingly enough, as Progress Index points out, while the male actors list saw all four of the main stars of the "Big Bang Theory" cast in the top 10, this isn't the case with the actresses, as co-stars Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) are nowhere to be found on the top 20 list of best-paid female stars on television.

As Design Trend reports, although the other "The Big Bang Theory" cast members aren't on the list, "Modern Family" does pay another one of its stars enough to make the top 10, as Vergara's co-star Julie Bowen took the third spot with $12 million.

The other women making the top 10 list were "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo making $11.5 million; Marishka Hargitay earning $11 million for her work in "Law and Order"; Julianna Margulies from "The Good Wife" and Amy Poehler from "Parks and Recreation" and the Netflix prequel to "Wet Hot American Summer" tied at $10.5 million; Mindy Kaling from "The Mindy Project" bagging $9 million in the past year; Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope in "Scandal" at $7 million and Patricia Heaton from "The Middle" earning $7 million this year.

Hopefully, the rest of the actresses from "The Big Bang Theory" cast will make it next year as well!
