Mormon Apocalypse Results Panic Buying and People Saving For Food

Mormon apocalypse has got a lot of people into panic buying freeze-dried food, flashlights and others emergency necessities in Utah. According to the believers of this religion, the end of the world is about to happen this September.

According to the Huffington Post, the many biblical prophecies along with the Hebrew calendar, the dwindling economy, global politics and the many things that are happening in the sky; are more than enough reasons to believe that the world is indeed about to end this month.

One of the people working at American Fork's Thrive Life was interviewed about the said preparation for doomsday, Ricardo Aranda said, "There is a sense of urgency, like something is up. A lot of people are mentioning things about September, like a financial collapse."

Believers of the said apocalypse are adamant about it since they said that the Jewish High Holidays that started earlier this week would cause financial crisis based on the wickedness that is happening in the United States. They also said that September 28, which will be a full moon, is another sign of the end of the world.

Books written by Julie Rowe, who is also a Mormon, are also the reasons why this apocalypse was said to occur. She wrote "A Greater Tomorrow," 'My Journey Beyond the Veil," and "The Time Is Now," which all relate to near-death experience. Rowe sold more than 20,000 copies of each of her books.

However, not all Mormons believe in the apocalypse. In fact, officials of the church don't encourage their people to believe in it because they don't think it is really coming to an end anytime soon. One their late leaders even told their followers to plan for long, productive lives.

NASA on the other hand also didn't say that the world is going to end this September. But then again, apocalypse believers probably just want to be sure they are spared from the chaos that doomsday will bring to mankind just in case it happens this month, so they'd rather be prepared for it.
