Terrifying 'Selfie From Hell' Short Film Has A Demon Stalking A Selfie-Loving Woman [VIDEO]

People obviously love taking photos of themselves, and now that it is easier to take a great picture without the help of a photographer, everyone seems to prefer taking selfies. The term "selfie" has even made its way into the Oxford Dictionary, which hailed it the word of the year in 2013.

"Selfie," which is described in the Oxford Dictionary as "a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website," is one of the most popular terms in the modern age. With that said, it was only a matter of time before the act of taking a selfie would find itself in a horror film.

The short film 'Selfie From Hell' may be less than a minute and a half and doesn't even have a dialogue, but the whole premise of the video is downright terrifying, especially for people who like taking their own pictures.

The description for the short reads as follows:

"A girl's just taking a selfie for her boyfriend when something really creepy happens..."

'Selfie From Hell' was uploaded by a Youtube channel F-k You Zombie, which only has two videos so far. The short was directed and written by Erdal Ceylan while the star of the film Meelah Adams produced the video. An actor named Sascha Hoff played the demon stalker in the short film.

'Selfie From Hell' may have been uploaded last month, but it has now gone viral, being featured in several websites. Meelah Adams has posted on Moviepilot to explain why they worked on the video.

"With 'Selfie from Hell' we wanted to create something creepy, atmospheric, a bit shocking, and above all entertaining," Adams wrote. "A video, that makes people want to share with others. The inspiration came from movies like 'Insidious' and 'The Ring.' The language is universal and there's almost no text, so everybody around the world can understand it."
