First Look Inside 'PYT' Burgers: East Coast Craziest Burgers is In New York

This restaurant that incorporates outlandish ingredients in their burgers has finally arrived in New York City.  East coast craziest burgers, PYT, will be opening its first ever store outside Philadelphia next week.

As reported in Business Insider, the New York location will soft open on the Bowery next week and seem to have overtaken Shake Shack in the creative front.  The restaurant which is known to use ingredients like chocolate-covered bacon, deep-fried beer and spaghetti buns will feature an 80's inspired style counter with four tables and a tiny storefront.  An arcade game at the back of the store is actually a secret door leading to a pizza place called SRO (Standing-Room Only) that has opened already.

The New York-based PYT will offer four main burgers in addition to rotating experimental burgers and alcoholic shakes.  The prices range from $9 to $13 however the specialty burgers are said to possibly cost more.

Owner, Tommy Up and the rest of the PYT team is excited to search local markets and restaurants to look for interesting ingredients to inspire new burgers.

"Is there anything I wouldn't try on a burger? Yeah, there are some things I wouldn't try," manager Igor Simic said to Business Insider. "I have a line I wouldn't cross. Tommy does not."

Speculations about the New York store first began last February when they made known their plans to enter New York market.  The location was confirmed last summer as 334 Bowery.  Tommy told Eater back in July what New Yorkers can expect from their menu:

"We're bringing our monster sellers: Cheesesteak Pretzel Roll, The Pickelback, our PYT Burger, The Calibunga veggie burger and rotating in our hall of famers: Deep Fried Twinkie Burger, Lasagna Bun Burger and the trashy but tasty Elliot's Pizza Burger. The D'oh Nut Cheesteak Burger will also be making its NYC debut!"

"[There's also] the CBGB Burger. It pays respect to our Bowery location and our DIY work ethic: Cheddar, beef, garlic bread bun, and bacon."

Tommy is excited to create New York-centric burgers, hinting of a dish inspired by CBGB, a legendary punk club that once stood in PYT's new neighbourhood, "We'll be trying all kinds of experimental things," Tommy said. "We're getting to know our neighbours."  Now the question is, will New Yorkers dig the crazy burgers PYT will dish up?  Share us your thoughts.
