Get ready to be heartbroken ladies, Adam Levine is officially off the market.
The Maroon 5 front man is engaged to Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo
The musician confirmed reports that he popped the question to his girlfriend of one year over the weekend in Los Angeles.
"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," Levine rep said in a statement to People magazine. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."
Things were not always so great with the couple. The romance hit a bump in the road and the two break things off before finally getting back together. "The Voice" judge started dating the 24-year-old model after his split from fellow model and longtime girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna. Levine then reportedly dated model Nina Agdal. The two were spotted on a beach vacation last month.
"The Nina thing was not that serious and was not going to last," Levine's pal told Us Weekly. "After Adam broke up with Behati, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He realized he really loved her and wanted to be with her."
The engaged couple was first spotted together in June 2012 while vacationing in Hawaii. They were reportedly heading to a friend's wedding. They were seen holding hands and chatting with pals together during pre-ceremony festivities.
"There's are two kinds of men; There are men who are f--king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world. And that's me," Levine told Details magazine. "Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them is that I love them so much."
